Big Birthday Sale

To celebrate the fact that this month sees not only my birthday, but the 1st birthday of the website, I decided to have a big sale, so all the jewellery and accessories (but not the flowers) now have 20% off until the 27th of March.

So come on and have a look, you never know, you may just find that little something that you really want, and don't forget, it's also Mother's Day this month.

Hope to see you online

Happy November

Ok so we are a week into the month, but thought I would say it anyway!

Have spent the last couple of weeks making loads of new stuff, having acquired some black, bronze and red copper plated ear wires and head/eye pins, I thought that I would have a play with them, so I got all my gemstone beads out and made oooodles of earrings (done some in gold and silver plate too)

Have also been making some asymetric bracelets, one side is a lovely wire coil and the other said is gorgeous glass beads with Swarovski cystals too.

And then to this week, decided to do some housework on the site, and spent 3 days fiddling with it, but everything is back up there now and all the new stuff has been listed too.

And I also have 3 events in the run up to Christmas (see site for details), luckilly they are each 2 weeks apart, so that gives me plenty of time to replace any sold stock for the next one!

So have a look at the site, I am sure there is something that will grab you, and if you are in the area on the days, why not come and say hi at any of the events.

Talk to you all soon.

Welcome to October

Wow hasn't it gone rather cold rather quickly! I wonder if this means that we are in for a proper winter for a change, and not just the cold wet ones that we have been having recently.

Anyway, enough about that!

Have been really busy with the jewellery making, last weekend I had an absolute beading binge, don't think I have ever made so much in one go lol

Plenty of earrings, some of them were Sterling Silver shapes, which I covered with Swaros, they really do catch the light, so anyway they are listed on the site now.

As are the other necklaces, bracelets and eyeglass chains that I made, so now there really is something for everyone.

So if you are starting to think about your Christmas shopping why not take a look and see if there is anything you fancy, how about a lovely piece of jewellery for the party season, or even some gifts?

Oh, forgot to say, am now booked into a couple of craft fairs for the Christmas season, details are on the site!

That's all for now, speak to you all again soon

Thursday 31 July 2008

Hey!

Hey there and welcome to August, my word this year is progressing along rather fast isn't it?

Needless to say, the last month or so has been really busy, my baby boy left primary school in July, so we had all the leaver's assemblies, church services and the visits to the new school. And when I say new school that's exactly what I mean.

My daughter is already at the school, but they have been in temporary buildings for the past two years while a whole new school has been built for them, it's going to be ready for them all to move into in September, have to say that it's a really impressive building and the kids are getting really excited about it.

So now we are going through the whole new school uniform process with him, pe kit has been ordered, now its just the main uniform.

Also had my usual stall in the craft fair at Gawthorpe Hall, I always do this one and it's usually a really good one, and this year the weather was very kind to us, and we all had a really good day.

The following weekend the family headed off down south to visit Farnborough Airshow, this was made all the more memorable in that the Vulcan was flying, after such a lot of hard work, time and money, it really was great to see her back in the air flying. I think the kids had a great time, I know they came home with a heck of a lot of freebies, pens, mousemats and all sorts of other stuff!

Apart from making some bracelets for my son to take to school as leaving presents for his teachers, and a pair of earrings for a customer in the States, I haven't had much chance to make much jewellery. But am hoping to get some made, as my fingers are itching to get playing.

Well that's all I can think of for now, I know, I really should add to this more often, and I will try to do so.

Enjoy the warm weather every one, chat to you all soon

Saturday 21 June 2008

Whoops, have been a bit tardy with doing this, but then I have been busy with work and making jewellery, had a stall today at the local church summer fair, due to the lovely summer weather (it being longest day and all) we had to have it in the school hall instead of on the field, was a good day, they put me right next to the cake stall, but I resisted.

Took enough to cover the table and fee and a little bit more, gave loads of business cards out and may even had a place at the church wedding fair taking place later in the year, so that will be nice as all I really need for that are samples, designs and photographs, rather than having to set the whole she-bang up.

So I am back home now, just sorted everything out to put it all away (why does it never go away properly at the end of a show?), and am now going to take it easy, and maybe do a little work tonight.

See you all again soon

Ooops. forgot to come back to this, have been doing some shuffling about on my site and getting it listed everywhere I can think of, hopfully that will send some more traffic through and even better if it can generate some sales.

Just making sure I have enough stock for a craft fair that I am doing in a month's time, I do it every year and it's usually a good one (plus it's local.... so that's good)

Have been wireworking this week, made a necklace in exchange for a lampwork bead, I love my bead and the beadcreator loves her necklace, so all is well with the world.

Am hoping to photgraph and list the wirework bracelets this week, so keep checking the site for new items.
